Using the Fellowes TB250 Thermal Binding Machine
Leave a comment »
Thermal binding is incredibly easy when you have the right equipment. One thermal binding machine that’s a snap to use is the Fellowes TB250. Just follow these operating instructions:
- Turn the TB250 on and let it warm up for 3 minutes. When the machine is ready, a green indicator light will go on.
- Measure the thickness of your documents with the lever on the front of the TB250. It will flash a number that corresponds with the cover selector on the back of the device. Choose a cover that will accommodate all the pages of your work. Documents containing up to 300 pages can be processed with this device.
- Place your pages inside the cover and jog them a bit to ensure that they are flush. Place the document in the TB250. When your work has been bound, you’ll hear a beep. Move the document to the machine’s cooling rack.
- Continue the process if you have anything else to bind. The TB250 can shut off automatically when you’re done.
